Rebecca Florczyk was born and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey and graduated from Teaneck High School in 2008. She is a rising senior at The College of New Jersey, where she will graduate with a degree in Journalism & Professional Writing and a minor in Law, Politics & Philosophy. In addition, Rebecca is a member of the Varsity Softball team, has worked as a College Ambassador and is a member of the Pre-Law Society. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in law, with a particular focus on global women’s issues. Rebecca has had the opportunity to travel to Nigeria, West Africa, where she worked as a volunteer for her mother’s non-profit educational organization, The Nigerian School Project. Her experiences here and abroad have shaped her love for travel and culture, as well as a desire to help make a difference in the world.
Rebecca is already making a difference as youth blogger. We, at GET DOWN, are looking forward to interesting stuff from Rebecca!
